My Portfolio
Here are some of my recent projects. Take a look-see and let me know how I can help you.
Goal Diggers
Goal Diggers designs and wholesales inspirational t-shirts and apparel. The owner had an outdated and confusing site, and wanted a professional design and improved usability on her website. She didn't want an online store but rather a showcase of her products and a place to express her business personality and to interact with her customers.
Design Imports, Inc. Demo CD
The Design Imports, Inc. brings high-quality glass art from Europe to the US. They needed a demo CD that would faithfully present their merchandise, while keeping the navigation and layout elements to a minimum. Also, the CD runs on multiple platforms and auto-launches on all Windows platforms. The Design Imports, Inc. main site.
Clean MySpace Design
Wanting to find out what all the hype was about, I finally got myself a MySpace account. My design sensibilities were accosted by page after page of gaudy design until I could take no more. I went on an online quest to learn how to build a clean MySpace page, and this is the result.
TextU.org
TextU is an SMS script site aimed at the MySpace generation. It's a quick loading page for anyone on a dial-up connection, but still looks hip and modern under those size limitations. The main attraction is the MySpace script front and center, surrounded by strategically placed advertising blocks and an interactive message board.
Twist Clothing
Dinah wanted a funky, fun-looking page. She wanted it to be easy to navigate and to the point. She also wanted a slideshow, and above all, an easy to manage site. This is a fully custom design, built on a CMS.
Part of the Solution ADR
Joshua wanted a professional looking site that was also very functional. He wanted the easy update-ability of a blog, but he also wanted to integrate some ADR (Appropriate Dispute Resolution) tools, such as chat rooms, bulletin boards, and downloadable pamphlets. This is a fully custom design, built on a CMS.
Financial Moxie
Financial Moxie wanted a simple but original WordPress template for their blog aimed at young adults and parents who are looking for advice on managing finances. The blog is simply laid out and easy to read, and incorporates a prominent box for collecting email addresses for the owner's newsletter, and a simple navigation menu.
Flee the Cube
Flee the Cube is a custom-designed blog site for internet entrepreneurs, where the focus is on content. The site is light-weight with few graphics, but good use of CSS ensures that the site looks great and has a down to earth feel. It has a simple two column design with a horizontal menu bar at the top for easy navigation.
